Thanks very much for the mail, and to Gary for helping! So sorry to hear about lizzard. Russell and I have been emailing each other, its really great to be in touch with long lost friends. Its so good to see you and Russell doing so well and still in surfing. If you can get the movie ‘A Winters Tale – Aust. edition’ from around 1974 you’ll see PC and I surfing ‘the point’, it might bring back some memories for you.

Im tall,had long hair tied back, glasses, lived on the point in the white building that good friend Peter Crawford lived in. We surfed together all the time with all the regulars, I was just thinking about those times and what a great time in our lives it was. I remember Peter Crawford and I out there on the point making funny noises like a competition to see who was more crazy. We were both very radical, imaginative unusual people. I miss Peter very much, I was so sad to hear that he had passed. I think you, Peter C., I and all the regulars are in a memorable period in the history of Dee Why surfing that many other people who watched us in person, movies, or the thousands of photos that were taken of us surfing may enjoy with warm delight.
